Welcome to the Lincolnshire Whites members club website. We would welcome supporters, who are members of Leeds United, from across Lincolnshire. The members club was formed early in 2009 and is continuing to grow in membership. The Clubs vision is to provide a platform for Lincolnshire Leeds Fans to share views, socialise at local Leeds events and ultimately have the option of using transport to go to home and away games. Opportunities exist to block book tickets through Leeds United, so that the Club can be seated together at away games and save on booking fees. Future plans include a Leeds United on the road event, a visit to Thorpe Arch (only available to members clubs) and other social events at Leeds. At the end of the day, the club will try to deliver what its members want. Keep at eye on the branch news page for upcoming events. Let’s make Lincolnshire one of the strongest members clubs!
The first informal get-together of the Club was held on a cold winter’s night in a pub in Lincoln. A few members got together to discuss whether there was any potential in trying to set up a Lincolnshire Members Club. Things moved on a pace from that first night and the Club had there first AGM in June 2009 at the excellent facility of the White Heather Restaurant, at Caenby Corner, run by one of our members, Jonathan Ellis. After enjoying the sandwiches and sausage rolls kindly laid on by Jonathan (I know I demolished a plate full!) it was down to business to agree membership rates, formally elect a committee and discuss ideas for future social events and ticket plans (see relevant sections of the website for up to date news on these issues). It was agreed that we would try and get together regularly as a club at various locations across Lincolnshire – so if you would like a get together at your local pub, please contact a member of the committee to arrange.
